Dad's Ice Cream

Dad's Ice Cream is an Abilene-owned small business, influenced by its Puerto Rican roots. Jason Tabares, the owner, was inspired by his father's truck in Puerto Rico to start the company - hence the name "Dad's Ice Cream." His was the first ice cream truck in its area to have all three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and swirl. 

Now we have changed the game in Abilene by serving delicious Italian Ice to your hometown. With the original Puerto Rican truck as the first of our fleet, we bring you a low calorie, low sugar treat served with fresh fruit and a lightness you can't find anywhere else in Abilene. Our veteran-owned small business is proud to serve unique and tasty treats for you to love.
